The book defines a friend as “the one whom we know well and are fond of, intimate associate, close acquaintance, a supporter or sympathizer someone who is not an enemy”. People define a friend as the one who stays faithful in the times of need. But I feel that friend is the one who comes along, changes your existing into living and becomes your everything.
Friendship is perhaps the most important part of anyone’s life. I have met many friends at many places of my schooling. Each friend I have made is special to me in a way or many.
My friends have always been a bright candle whenever I am grouping in darkness, they have been a pleasant shade when I am in the burning sun and they have told me how dirty my face is when I really have. They have been so encouraging and co-operative though I am very cruel to them. They have been helping me in every possible way, whether it may be in solving mathematical problem or writing a good essay, whether it may be in preparing a project or publishing the wall- magazine. The most precious thing I’ve received from my friends is their immense support for which I’m indebted throughout my life. My school friends have given every bit of me and are my complement. I may not be a good friend but they deserve the best of all.
But the fact that always haunts me is the departure time when everyone will march ahead towards their own destination. All of them will busy in their own work and so will I be. But it is too odd to confess this reality. To depart with my friends with whom I’ve shared almost all the memories of my life I’ve lived live yet…………………., obviously it’s dreadful. I don’t know if I’m too coward to face the new world or too emotional to let go things I had. Perhaps both.
Whatever my friends will ever remain within me till the end of my life. I am thankful to them for whatever they have given me and hope I can repay them.
